Day 23 -- The Letter J

Day 23-- The Letter J

Matthew 1:21  This is the genealogy of Jesus the Messiah. The son of David, the son of Abraham.

The above is a page from the Hawaiian dictionary.  The Hawaiian alphabet contains only 13 letters, the vowels a, e, i, o, and u and the consonants h, k, l ,m, n, p, w and the 'u'ina  represented by the inverted comma.  No "J" thus Jesus is Iesu.

  5. I knew the Hawaiian alphabet didn't have a J but never crossed my mind how they would say Jesus in Hawaiian... Now I know, thank you!
